i got a 2000 nissan frontier crew cab 4x4 se................ive got 255  70 r 16 on there right now ive had the truck going on 2 years and its time for some tires.....my grandfather has a car lot and he is all the time getting  different vehicles in hes got a dodge durango and it has 31x10.50 r16 bf good wrench land terrains well i was wondering if those tires would fit my frontier without having to crank my torsion bars (ive done it in the past and there was terrible squeaking noise so i lowered them back down) if the tires would fit he told me i could swap tires with him.......any advice on what i should do??

the on thing I can tell you that thats about a 2in diffrence in tire size

Hey, I've got a 2003 king cab, and I fit 30x9.5x15 under there with no problem at all, actually looking clearance wise, I should have gone 31's.. woulda been fine, and 32s probably would have rubbed a lot. You should be just fine swapping (same generation nissan, but cc to kc, I don't think much changed in the clearance dept)

Only thing to suggest is try 'em out, if they rub, take 'em off.
