Has anyone bought, installed and used one of these?Differential Cover - Diff Cover - Diff Protection Skid - 05+ Xterra & Frontier

If so, any issues with installation of which I should be aware?  I  bought one as I want to protect the rear diff cover on my C200 axle whn backing out of hunting roads and fields.

Thanks in advance!

Well, I installed this thing today.  A bit of a pain.  The actual Shrockworks part was GREAT.  Fit perfectly.  However, the fine thread metric Nissan bolts used on the diff cover and the new ones supllied to go back in were  a pain.  All of the holes were filled with the RTV they used at the factory to seal the diff cover.  The old bolts came out reasonably well but I spent at least two hours running a chase through all of the threaded holes trying to clear them to get the new (or even the old) bolts back into them.  Finally got them all in and torqued to 42 foot pounds as per instructions.  The guard looks great and is very solid.  Now I'll see if I precipitated a diff cover leak.

If you work with these fine bolts and they are all over the truck, CHASE THE THREADS carefully and actually run the new bolts or old ones through a die to make sure the threads are clean and will catch when installed.
