Has anyone had something caught in the fan under the glove box?  It sounds like a piece of paper or leaf is stuck in there and hitting against the fan blades.  I can't see it, as there's a cover on the fan but it speeds up and down as I adjust the air conditioner/heating fan speed.

If so, what did you do to resolve?

Unplug it, take the 3 screws out to remove and inspect it. Hopefully not a dead mouse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Frontier guy.  Have you done this?  How difficult/time consuming?

Many times. As mentioned before, it helps to know the particular vehicle you are referring to, maybe add it to your signature!!!! Assuming it is an 05 or later Frontier, you will need to remove the sill plate and kick panel - they basically are held on by push clips. Unplug connector to the motor, then remove the 3 screws.
