Gents I have a 2002 frontier v6 3.3l, that has a discoloration on one of the metal towers of my distributor cap and the corresponding plug wire itself. The truck runs fine and I replaced cap/rotor and plugs recently.
My question is do I have a bad plug wire or something else? and can I test my plug wire? thx all Brian

Well, you can teat the resistance of that wire against another one of the plug wires and see if they are similar. Did you have the wire fully seated in the distributor cap? Was the wire tightly attached to the spark plug? Those are the things I would check first.

Let us know what you find! Also take off the cap and look inside at the terminals and let us know what you see in there.
