Quick question for you. I'm looking into getting some rock sliders and I just wanted to find out what the best length would be for an 01 king cab? I measured and it's 68" from the front flare to the rear flare.

I have been looking at the following sites for prices and construction;

http://www.4xinnovations.com/pages/guarding/sliders.htm ;   - not sure if I want to go with the RS01-H or the RS01-H-K

http://www.trail-gear.com/tacoma.html    - good construction, good price. just have to see if they can make them 68"

http://www.purenissan.com/rocker_skids.htm   - a little pricey and I think I like the round bar construction better

Also any preference with drilling holes to mount or just welding? What about the pinch seam in the body? My buddy who has a Jeep recommends welding to the pinch seam. I think he said cut a little notch in it and weld to it. What do you think?

I'd say welding is stronger.
