i recently purchased a 06 crew cab nismo frontier, i traded in my 05 king cab nismo frontier for it. a few weeks after buying the truck it was at nissan for the front door speaker sounding as if they were blowen... the music coming from them was distorted, after many trips to nissan to leave my truck with them all day.... they replaced the door speakers twice, the head unit it self once , then the amplifier. still the problem was there but now i had a new problem... when i would shut the truck off the stereo would make a very loud "POP" noise every time, so needless to say i brought the truck back to them, so they replaced the amplifier again... but the original problem was not fixed, at this point in time nissan told me that they cant fix it and maybe i should try buying after market door speekers for it... but as i said to nissan "what was the point of me buying the upgraded rockford fosgate audio system for me to spend mor money to replace that?" ..... so i guess what im trying to get to, has anybody else notice this problem with their rockford fosgate  system ? and if so has nissan fixed yours...  thanks

If they changed  the speakers, the amp, and the head unit, and it did not fix the problem...I would say its something in the wiring.  Something  is probably grounding out.  If it were me, I would replace the speaker wiring from the unit to the amp to the speakers.  It would probably be easier to do that than to find where  the factory wire is grounding out.

Im not an expert on this kind of stuff, but thats what I would do.

Good luck.
