Hi guys, I am new in the forum, I got a 2005 nissan frontier SE V6 A/T 2WDwith power package only.

the big problem is that with only 15,000 miles, the truck's seats got totally destroyed on the fabric where the waist of the driver goes. it will happen on the other seats, but because the driver seat is the most used, it shows a lot more.

nissan should acknowledge this issue and do a recall and change the type of fabric for free. at least that is my opinion.

please, if this has happened to anyone else, post here, so I know it is a normal issue.

I will go to the dealer tomorrow to see if Nissan will acknowledge this and change the seats, or the fabric on the seats at least.

other than that, this truck is amazing!!

Martin.-

This sucks.  I love the look of the seats, but I only have 900miles on them.  I have seen shavers that are made to de-fuzz sweaters, maybe we need to look into buying one for our seats.

I am looking for an electric shaver type as well.

Here is one that attaches to your vacuum.

I am not sure how I feel about this one.  Sweater stone?

hey guys, I went to the dealer, I explained the guy that the truck was purchased on feb. and only has 15k miles, and he said it was tear and wear issue, but he understand that tear and wear should not happen so quick, he agreed to change the seat covered into my warranty, if I was you guys, I would go to the dealer, and have them changed trhu warranty, and then what I am gonna do is put a nice seat cover, I hate it because the seats look awesome, but I believe nissan messed up in the fabric selection.

I cannot ask them to change all my seats for leather ones heh.

anyway, my wife and her little sisters drives the truck all the time, so it doesn't sound bad the idea of the seat covers to protect the truckfrom them too..

good luck at the dealer. and, push they have to change them.
