Hey guys, I'm new to the forums and I recently got myself a nice 2000 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab 4wd manual. Well, the problem is that dad got the transmission replaced before he gave it to me and ever since they put the new transmission in the speedometer does NOT work. All of the other panels on the dash work fine EXCEPT the speedometer.

Does anyone have any hints at what this could be before I spend an arm and a leg at the dealership getting it fixed?

Everything else (including shifting) is smooth on this truck.

Its probably just the cable thats not connected. on these forums there is a link that has a website that you can get the actual dealer repair manual for your truck. It should  have what ever you may need to fix your truck. I have the manual for my truck it has diagrams  for every detail.

they dont use cables any more get under the truck passenger side it will be on the rear of transfer case see if they pluged the wires back in or they could have damaged the sensor itself.

Where is it located exactly? I just came from under there and I didn't see anything by doing a rough look-over.
