Howdy folks,

I have a 1999 frontier,  now when driving at night  my high beam light comes on and headlights dim, only for a few seconds. But this keeps happining every five minutes or so. Anybody have a clue what this could mean?

Thanks in advance

do you have an after market sterio? posibly subwoofers at that... alot of people will forget to install a capasiter with there high wattage systems, this will drain the battery and put load on the alt, causing it to draw from the sorce than a stored up charge... causeing headlights and interior lights ie... dash board lights to dim as well...? but other than that... sry.

i dont know how technical you might be, but it could be the headlight switch on the colomn? posibly just a bad connection on the harness? though that might take a bump to achieve this result not just a random time slot.  This is all happening while your not trying to turn on the high beams correct?
