Ok this is weird.  I have a new SE Crew Cab LB.   My steering wheel is still not level when going straight down a flat road (leans to the left about 3/4 inch).  I don't notice any pull (i.e. it seems to go straight just steering wheel is off).  Took it back to the dealer twice and they said they checked the alignment and tried fixing but I didn't notice any change.  I'll probably try another dealer next.

Also, when parking the truck I noticed it always looks crooked in the parking spot compared to the lines no matter how hard I try to park straight.  I tried parking several times in my driveway as straight as possible and measured from the sides of the driveway (concrete - one side is against my house so I feel pretty sure it is straight) and I'm always coming up an with about an inch or slightly more difference from the side of the driveway from front tire to back tire.  So the truck looks like this like it is parked like this (exaggerated): / (front tires slightly to the right of rear tires)

Any idea what is going on?  If so, how do I tell the dealer it is a problem and not get a look like I am insane?  Or should I just get rid of this truck?

Thanks

FYI

I noticed when I first bought my 05 Frontier King Cab that I was getting chips in the paint on the left side only. I took it back to dealership thinking that the mudflap was not properly installed. We noticed instead, that the front left tire was sticking out beyond the mudflap, whereas, the right tire was within the mudflaps range for catching debris. You may want to check to see if this may be causing your problem. Nothing was done for me, and I now carry touch up paint for the chips.

My nissan leans to the Left front view, It is obvious, and I don't know what
the problem might be. it has 35000 and It should not be crapping out this
soon, I drive it like a baby.

You aren't alone, i see the same on some others in the street. Apparently
it is a common problem.

..

barberian6;

If your Frontier has a torsion bar front suspention you can crank the one on the low side up to match the other side.

My was equil but I cranked both sides up 5/8th inch for a little lift.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

At my age my learning curve has degraded to a straight line<snif> <snif> …

If it is an 05+, it doesn't have a torsion bar suspension.

Your steering wheel will not necessarily be straight... rather your truck can be straight and your steering wheel not.

What you should do is park it on a level surface (check this with a level).  Then put a level on various places on your truck, both front to back and side to side.  If its not level, you should inspect:

  1. Tire wear & pressure
  2. Suspension & shocks
  3. Weight in the vehicle

The only other thing I can think of is that it is possible something is bent/out of square on the frame.  You would feel that when driving however (at least I did on my prior truck when it had a bent frame).
