I am the original owner of a 1999 Nissan Frontier, 6 cyl. It has 115,000 miles and has been religiously serviced by the dealer. Lately I haven't put a lot of miles on the truck. Due to high gas prices, I bought a Sentra, and have been driving that lately. I have only been driving the truck for towing.
The Sentra went into the shop. I thought, "No biggie, I'll just drive the truck." So I hopped in, turned the key, and the truck turns over (so I know this is not a starter problem), but it's not getting any fire.
I am inclined to go out and buy some spark plugs, plug wires, and distributor cap to see if that will remedy the problem.
Is there anywhere else I should be looking if the truck is not getting any fire?
