I've called two dealerships and got answers, so I figured I'd ask those who know...

We're moving and it would be easier to two one vehicle with another.  Can an '06 4wd auto be dollied or do I need all four wheels off the ground.  We'll be going about 850 miles.

Thanks

Welcome to the group…

I don’t think the dealers want the liability risk for giving you that kind of advice… There are too many starving lawyers.

I’d Dolly it and remove the rear drive shaft. Don’t carry any extra weight in the towed vehicle and keep the speed down.. Hope you have good brakes on the tow vehicle   and Good Luck!

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

Most of the countries we import our food and goods from hate our guts… do you think for a minute they treat the food and merchandize with loving care? Globalization Sucks for the average American… but our enemies, and big business, and our politicians

love it!
