All,
I had included this with my new Frontier owner post in General. Probably shouldn't have since it's technical in nature. Sorry for that.
I've got an '07 4x4 6spd Frontier SE king(love it by the way). I would like to install the OEM foglights(I've got a contact at a local Nissan dealer and can get them for a good price). I found the wiring harnesses taped up underneath to the bumper brackets. I would assume since they're there, all I need is the foglight switch that's built into the lever of the Nismo(and LE?).
So that's what I'd like to know- can I just buy the complete Nismo headlight switch lever and replace my existing lever with it?(service departments of my three local Nissan dealerships can't advise me because they've never done it).
Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can install the Nissan turn signal switch with the fog lamp switch on it. Switch Part - # 25540-CB61A for '07 models. The lamps depend on your style bumper.
Three screws to loosen the column cover and Press the two clips and the switch comes out. Push the new switch back in until it clicks in place and you have power to fog lamp plugs/connectors. Reinstall the cover and install the lamps.
I picked mine up at Courtesy Nissan in Dallas as my local delaers had no clue how to do it. Took less than 30 minutes to install the lamps and switch. Look great and realy light up the front at night.

Lemoninspector,
Thanks for the reply. I was beginning to think I'm the only one who wants to install the OEM lights/switch as opposed to aftermarket:-)
Your description of the switch install sounds really simple. Which I suspect is how it really is. As opposed to the tech I spoke with yesterday who works at my local dealer where he explained about having to remove the steering wheel and the air bag and doing this and that with the combination meter, etc. etc. He sounded confident but I don't think he's actually ever installed a turn signal switch before. On top of that, I spoke with one of their service writers and parts dept guys, as well as service and parts guys from other dealers(couple of them referred me to independant aftermarket shops for the lights/switch) and none of them were even aware these trucks already come with the harnesses installed from the factory. Sheesh.
I'm glad you were out there to see my message. It'll save me a lot of time and phone calls. And I appreciate the p/n. They've got the factory lights in stock here local so I'll check into that switch and I should be good to go.
Thanks again.

I responded to your e-mail. Go get the parts and have fun.
That Nissan tech. must have just defected from FORD. I am a tech and it took me a few hours research of schematics. Looking into the fuse box and calling Courtesy and driving 200 miles to get the parts. ( I was on business anyway right next door)
The switch number listed is for 2007. I don't know about '08's. But that number is on the box in the garage with my old switch in it.
Tell your parts guy to get you that switch , hook you up with the lamps and finishers and four bolts that fit the speed nuts on the lamps and "LET THERE BE LIGHT".

I was looking to do exactly the same thing to the exact same truck. I have the 07 KC with 6spd. The fog lights currently have these knockouts in there. If you don't mind my asking, how much was a good price on the 2 lights and the switch? The local dealer told me this wasn't possible btw...
On another note, my last Nissan had the more elaborate computer. I had mileage, temp ect.. The Nismo and the LE come with this I beleive. Would it be possible to order the replacement display and apply it to an SE to gain the milegae, temp ect. This too I was told was impossible.
Thanks for the info!

Is switch # 25540-CB61A for the auto headlite system??? Switch # 25540-ET11A is NOT for auto headlites. Just curious.

Thanks frontierguy, you've been a great help!
These are the prices rounded up from my local dealer...
1-25540-ET11A switch -$78 1-26150-EA825 lamp -$103 1-26155-EA825 lamp -$103 1-62256-EA800 bezel -$7 1-62257-EA800 bezel -$7 4-08146-6162G bolt -$4 for all 4 bolts.
My friend works at a mopar dealer, I'm going to see if they give him 30-40% dealer discount on the purchase. If you have a cheaper alternative please let me know.
Thanks again Frontierguy, this forum is great!

Frontierguy, Looking up those parts online and all the vendors have that listed as the signal switch with traction control. Am I looking at the right part?
___________________________________________________________ Edit:
Forget this above, just called. I need the switch ending in ET11E, this is without TC. ___________________________________________________________ Another Edit: I spoke with Jacob at Courtesy Nissan in TX. They have a complete kit for people trying to do this. It runs $240 out the door and contains all that was mentioned above. The only thing with the kit is that it come with the switch W/ traction control. He changed it out for the one W/out and I'll be his guinea pig. If all goes well this kit will be an easy solution for members trying to add fog lights to their late gen frontiers.
Here's a link to the fog light kit

I'm curios what traction control has to do w/ headlites/foglites?????? The switch I used is from an 08 Pathfinder Le(25540-ET11A). I had tried one out of an 09 LE frontier w/ auto headlites, and that switch also worked to power the foglites! The thing is, if it has the fog lite switch on it , it will work. Whether it be a ET11A - ET11E etc., CB66E NO. From 05-09, there are about 8 different part #'s for switches. Courtesy Parts use there own #'s to make it difficult to identify the part and get it locally.(can't blame them!)
