I have a 2005 Frontier SE, 4x4 with 10k miles. Within the past month an annoying vibration has developed. If the truck is in neutral and idling, there is a minor vibration in the steering wheel and seats. It increases some if the truck is put into drive. When out on the highway, it is more severe. You can see the passenger seat shake, and you can feel it in the driver's seat and the wheel. I have had the tires rotated and balanced twice in the past month. I don't know if the problem could be in the drive train, transmission, or motor mounts? I took it to the dealer and got lip service -- I was told that the 4.0 liter engine was so powerful I should expect some vibration. The service personnel also said that the '07 trucks do the same thing. Any ideas as to what the underlying cause of this problem may be? Has anyone experienced vibration in the '05 Frontier?
