I have a new 06 auto that is hanging in gear when accerlating to change lanes. Dealr said to break it in so now have 7,000 miles on it and it still does it sometimes nearly advoiding accident on freeway change. Also 2x it wouldn't go in gear after staritng when engine is warm.

Check engine soon light appears the n i restart and it shifts fine. Test drove anothe rone just like it and it shifted fine.

ANy thoughts as the dealer is giving me a runaround and it is a real safety concern now.
