I have this strange noise around the dash board/windshield on the passenger side of my 04 4x2. It constantly sounds like its raining on the windshield. Any one have any thoughts about this?

Some times it is trash that has got into the air ducts.

I have an 2006 se crew cab and I have a similar issue with my truck, it sounds like water is running through a drain while the truck is driving and idling. 1st time the dealer denied heaing it the second time while on a test drive the tech heard the noise and said "that is not supposed to sound like that, there is something wrong but with your radio on and road noise you will never hear it" can you believe this guy? sounded like a prerecorded message... Dealer said they would fix it and never did anything about it. complaint filed and i am currently searching for a new dealer. Do not ever Deal with TEAM Nissan Manchester NH EVER!!!!!

My noise sounds like someone is tapping on the windshield. I had a few sets of skis on my truck the other day and it got real loud. I am wondering if it has something to do with my rack. Real strange. Its like something is tapping on the front of the glass. Its starting to drive me insane!
