Anyone tried Firestone Ride-Rite air bags on an '05 - '07?  I have some on order.  Trying to level the truck when I tow my camper with Swagman towing bike rack, which extends the ball out back two feet.  Gord

Gordo-

I have a set still in the box waiting to be installed (by me I hope).  I should be able to get around to the task in another month, so sometime in May.

Will you be doing the install?  If so, keep some notes and I'll do the same.

I have the bags and the compressor.

No Doc, a local shop is to do it.  They installed SuperSprings for me last August and I used them on a 4000 km trip, but was not happy with the way they reduced my suspension travel. So I asked them to replace those with the air bags.  Now I have been waiting half a year for them to get the right parts.  They claim the wrong ones were shipped twice so far.  (Yes, I'm thinking I may be getting the run around - they already removed the SuperSprings.)  No compressor involved, though I may add one later.  Did you have any problem finding the right part for your truck?  Gord

I had no problems getting the parts, just getting the time to put those bad boys on.  Chris6744, I'll be keeping you in mind.  You wouldn't have any pics would you?
