i have an 07 frontier with the step bumper, but since i have 4 wheel drive, it
is too high for my trailer, is there a hitch that utilizes the bumper and lowers
the hitch point

... The bumpers are not very strong. Haven't seen any ball lowering devices for one short of welding and don't advise it!. I removed the bumper and crafted a Class III hitch and use a

shown with tow hook installed. Beauty is only skin deep.

EDIT: Opppsssss saw a bolt on lowering deal at Texas Tractor supply.
