Well there's a topless bar 7 miles Northweast of me.

And there's the White Elephant Saloon on Exchange Street where most of the girls are really girls.  It's near Billy-Bobs in the Histiric Stockyards of Fort Worth. But watch what you're steppin' in... they Trail Drive Longhorn Steers up and down Exchange Street. Don't stop and pick up any stray white kittiy cats... we have a few albino skunks locally.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

China is creating new jobs building up their infrastructure.  Americans are paying bonuses to Wall Streeters.

Who will be the planets only Super Power in ten years?

well people keep claiming there's these cool faces in the side of a cliff around here.  I've seen it a couple of times, not impressed.

You want something cool for South Dakota.

Black Hills cruise, there's some nice places to off road, and just cruising the main roads you see a lot of spectacular views

AND

Probably the coolest and most important Sturgis Bike Rally - Held the 2 week of August and some of the rumors you may have heard could be true.  Let me set the most important straight.

No the women don't walk around topless in town... however they do at the Bufallo Chip .  You will see plenty of stickers and pasties in town though.

There's a Air and Space museum at the local Air Force Base.  They offer a tour of the base as well.  Cool if you're into planes.

So what kind of things are you looking to do or see?  I've been around to a few of the states and know a few lesser known things.  I'm a Army brat and even after my dad got out they never quit moving every few years.  Also their idea of fun was just to drive in a direction for half the day to see what they could find, then at lunch head back home.

Oh, I do have one thing to recommend.  Great Bend Kansas has a little local Burger joint called Mr Burger.  Definitely stop by and eat, you won't regret it.  I took the wife by there on the way back from visiting my parents, she can't wait to eat there again.

Speakin' of food... I love Tex-Mex cooking. The best in Texas (equals the world) is at Ken's (walk in) Drive Inn on US-287 in Quana Tx. the prices are low. It's the only place I've seen where the refried beans are fried and have grill marks. Get the beef enchilada plate with the ice cold home made salsa!

Then there's Big Tex's in Amarillo on I-40. A 72 oz stake with trimmings and it's free if you can eat it all in an hour!

The Best eatin' spot in Colorado is the Turntable Cafe in the Rio Grande railroad yard in Minturn Co. It's north of Leadville. The prices are low. We've eaten there four fantastic times. My fav was was a Denver/Western omlete smothered with Texas style chili!

Dang!... now I gotta go kill a calf an' make chili!

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

All pre-1984 cars are exempt from the $4,500 trade in Gas Hog Law! Thank you Wastington D.C.!
