Well I don't know if I'll be a moderator any longer.  I traded my precious baby today for a 04 Colorado LS crew cab. 

 It still hurts and I miss my baby.  I have a lot of fond memories.  I would have gone with a Frontier... but there's noway ANYONE could have beaten the deal I got.  I paid $5000 less than blue book and it came with Rims. 

Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do with my box.  The subs will be moved over to my Maxima.  And the remote start will be installed on the Colorado later this month.

I wish to apologize to everyone for going off the Frontier path, and it hurts so much that I did.  But I needed a 4wd really bad.  With the increase of responsibility at work, I needed something that could get me there with ease. 

I hope that I can still stay around as a mod, I love being here, and will always be a DIE HARD Nissan Fan.

The answer to your problem is simple. Take your Colorado and trade it in for a new or newer 4x4 fronty. You would still be ahead because of what you saved on your Colorado and you would be back in the frontier of your choice. C'mon you know that this is a good idea and, think about 100,000 miles down the line. Would you rather be in the fronty of your choice or the Colorado whose reliability ratings would probably scare you, ie Consumer Reports all black circles.
