... One possible way to save money buying gasoline while on trips is to get way from major highways to buy gasoline. Here where I live, south of Ft.Worth, the stations along I-35W sell their gas a nickel to a dime per gallon higher than stations a quarter of a mile away.

... Yesterday,08/31/05 at noon, the major brands were $2.599 per gallon of 87 Octane. By 7:00pm they were $2.799 and the Highway stations were at $2.899 al day.

gotta be a member of that forum to read the thread...and that sh*t just happend, gas here in orlando is a 3$ and it just happend.  Last night, there was lines at every gas station, i got there when it was 2.65 and by the time i got some it was 2.85...crazy.

We may be bitching about this gas prices but think about the people in new orleans who's houses are underwater.  Help out the cause
