my brother and sister are hooking me up with 2 sets i believe of Kenwood 5 1/4" 2-way speakers for my 01 SE CC, i was originally gonna go with alpines but they bought them for me for my bday and from what i heard of them they are pretty good, so for a little more bass i'll probably pick up an 8" sub, maybe cerwin vega, or whatever..and a 4 channel amp, now my thoughts were to run two of the speakers off the factory deck, the other two off the amp and then bridge the last two channels and run the amp, any thoughts about that...i know kenwood has decent sound and i'm not looking to blow the doors off my own truck or anyone else's just some quality sound that is better than the factory and a little more bass thus the small sub, like i said just some overall decent sound w/o breaking the bank..any thoughts or suggestions?

well money is a concern lol..i just want a decent sounding system that isn't gonna break the bank as well as take a ton of juice to power, don't like people to hear me before they see me...that being said..i actually got some rockford fosgate replacement type speakers...4" for the rear, and my brother got the 5.25" up front but they didn't fit the factory setup..so i think he's gonna replace them with teh 6" ones...i also have an older model stage one rockford fosgate 8" sub laying around the garage in a pioneer box..and i plan to use that in the future along with an amp, now i know my factory deck isn't gonna power the speakers well enough on their own to get full use out of them since its only pushes 4x25W, and the 4" speakers specs are 40W RMS and the 6" are like up to 60W RMS, that being said..i plan on using a 4 channel amp, and pushing the sub with one bridged set and front two speakers off the amp and just run the rears off the factory deck, any other suggestions, this is something to be coming in the future cause i'm short on cash right now and don't see it coming in the near future.

Well exactly how much are you looking to spend? There is the possibilty of doing 2 amps...

though what you plan on doing would work as well.
