Iv'e taken my 05 truck with factory radio 6 cd and steering wheel controls (not RF) to 2 different dealers. Both agree the radio has abnormal static. 1st dealer replaced antenna, antenna mast, and radio. Did not fix static issue. 2nd dealer reran ground and it did not change static issue. CD is fine. Dealers claim very difficult to get factory nissan engineers on the phone to troubleshoot. Can anyone out there help me? Thanks

Check the connections on the speakers. It's amazing what a loose terminal will do to your SQ.

Also, I would find a respectable car-audio store over a dealer for this issue. Someplace local that does a lot of work... NOT Best Buy or Circuit City!!!
