Hi

I am new to the forums and recently purchased a 2005 Frontier Se 4x4 Extra cab.  I've purchased the headunit off of e-bay.  It's a single din unit and has navigation on it.  However, the nav requires the vehicle speed sensor wire to be hooked to it and I've not been able to locate that wire and also a reverse light wire hooked up according to some posts on crutchfield.  Also are single din dash kits availabe for the Frontiers?  I ask because crutchfield didn't list them as an option... I usually just go to Wally-world and pick one up for an install.

Thanks for any help,

Eric

edit: I recently found this article regarding a similar install on an 01 Pathfinder

http://x.nissanhelp.com/forums/pathfinder/3438-where-speed-s ensor.html  Is the wiring similar to that of the 05 Frontiers?

Thank you for the dash kit info.  The gps antenae requires mounting outside of the truck.  What would be your recommendation on the best way to route this wire as I've never ran anything to the roof before.

Thanks again.

I have a 2007 KC which I recently installed my Sirius radio in.   I mounted the antenna on the roof and ran the wires in through the brake light on the top of the cab.  Other than requiring me to buy a nut driver set to get to the screws (inside the cabin) installation was a snap.  I was concerned about rain getting inside the cab but have thus far had no problems through several downpours.

Hope that helps.
