What's your favorite past time in your Frontier? Mine has to be muddin and camping and hunting. I'll stick a big rack on the bed of my Frontier and place a tarp over it and make a crappy little tent and keep some pillows and sleeping bags back there just to crash. Then I'll throw some brush and camo over my truck and park it in some bushes while hunting (works really well believe it or not). And finally, I'll stow all that away in my tool box and go slidding around in the mud along the river. Awkward, yes, but a lot precious memories for me.

..

Most of my favorite 4x4 times come while wheeling in the mountains of Colorado.

One evening, south west of Alamosa, I stopped to camp out at a vacant camp ground along the Alamosa River and sleep in the back of the Frontier. The Frontier has a FG shell covering the bed.

So I parked the truck and since no one was around I decided to pull out my organ. It’s a Yamaha PSR-550 keyboard. I turned up the volume and had a great practice session. Some people were ‘free camping’ down the trail a ways and walked up to better hear the Yamaha. After a few drinks we parted and hit the sack.

Have a good one,  and  CUL.. Don S..

Although I don't own one as yet, I mostly enjoy trying to improve the performance on these mid-size trucks. Gas milage is much better on the small/mid-size trucks VS the "full sized" V-8 trucks, and with some mods, you can hop them up quite nicely. I'm curious if anyone had the "headers" installed that they offer by Nismo? That will be the thing I will have done on mine, the Nismo headers, K&N intake, Magnaflow exhaust, and possibly a programmer of some sort. With the stock 261hp, with these mods, the Frontier should end up pushing 280+ hp. I don't do much off road, but want a dependable vehicle that gets me back and forth from work, hunting seasons, and in the winter weather.

I don't have the money for a High Performance car besides a truck, so I'm trying to get both out of the Frontier/Ranger.

Sounds like fun!

The US appears to be the best place in the world, due to its unique and beautiful landscape!

Mine used to be just cruising around listening to my subs... and making everything around my truck rattle.

Headers? Those are mentioned in the little brochures over the Frontier...I can't say right off the bat I know what they are.

My teacher was recently in a bad collision in her Frontier. Some punk slammed her HARD on the drivers side and spun her a good 200ft into a light pole (and took out the pole). She got pretty banged up but the doctors said if she hadn't been in her Frontier, and in her other little truck, it could have killed her. Made me really appreciate my Frontier.

Favorite thing in my Frontier.  Driving it, I flat tow my Bronco behind to anything serious I will be doing or load up the 4-wheeler in the back to do anything else.  Truck rides decent, average gas mileage (15-17 in the city).
