All,

I am getting a run around on a couple of fronts.  The stock tire on my gem is 265/55 17.  I have settled on the Cooper Discoverer STT in either 265/70 17 or 245/70 17.

First question:  Is the 265 too large for a stock height (no lift)?  Can it work with minimal trimming?  How about 245?

Second question:  I have seen the rotation per mile change on both sizes.  It is either a 7% or 11% change.  Who can change my computer with the new RPM?  I have tried one dealership, and they said they cannot (matter of fact they said all Nissan's cannot be changed (BS)).  One dealer said bring it in.

Follow up on number2:  Is it expensixe?

Thanks,

jdcjac
