Hey Guy's,
Here's a New Tool that I just got for repairing crack's in
plastic part's.
I had a couple of Plastic Tab's that are used to secure the
plastic panel's underneath the Engine that were cracking.
This was caused by the metal screw applying pressure to the
plastic tab over time and the plastic tab cracking under
pressure.
To repair the crack's and make them as strong or stronger I
used a Hot Stapler for repairing Crack's in Plastic.
This is the one that I got on EBay: 165173920649
Just go to Ebay and put that # in the Search box, and it
will come up. It cost about 25 $'s and the one that I got
work's real good with a Built in Work Light.
People use these hot stapler's to do a variety of plastic
repair's, includeing Bumper's, etc. AFter the repair the
Area can be sanded, Fiberglassed, bondo'd, Primered, and
painted to look just like New and maybe even stronger than
New, since the Repair now has embedded Metal Wire to
reinforce the plastic.
There are several UTube Video's showing how people useing
these to repair their Cracked Plastic Part's, Panel's, etc.
Amazing watching the Pro's Repair look just like Brand New.
Maybe a Hot Stapler could help you; It sure helped me and
was pretty easy to do as well.
Regards,
