I have ordered a set of headers from Spencer Low Racing for 2001-2004 nissan frontier ,I've had some things come up, on of which the birth of a new son...so my expenses are a little strapped right now. These headers are a hot item right now, and you have to get on a waiting list for next batch to be made w/ a deposit of $100.00, & wait about 6 weeks to get them because they're custom made. The headers are almost done, Josh Spencer said someone or the next order called in can take my place & get the headers in less than 2 weeks! The price is fantastic at $585 dollars for a pair of custom headers. Here are the details: These headers are for off-road use only. 1/2" thick CNC cut flange, mandrel bent stainless steel tubing 3 into 1 merge for optimum performance and flow. 100% TIG welded construction inside and out. Ceramic coated for long lasting and corrosion free performance.

Bolts in place of your OEM exhaust manifold and pre-catalytic converter. Bolts to the flange on the main catalytic converter. Oxygen sensors bolt in place of the OEM pre-catalytic converter. Does not affect the vehicle's ECU. There are 4 oxygen sensors per system. Computer takes the main reading off of the primary catalytic converter in the system.

Dyno results show 14 HP with stock air box. Combined with the SLR iV Air Cleaner System and Cat Back Exhaust, there is a 35 HP gain. Results may vary from vehicle to vehicle.

ah i hear ya about the being strapped for cash, but congratulations on the baby, i inquired about these headers and specifically why they were "off road use only" and this is what SLR's people told me in an email, basically the reason they are labeled for off road use only is that they do not pass california emissions standards, and taht being said he indicated it would differ from state to state, which is true, but my best bet would be to get with a local muffer shop and check and see what they'd say about whether or not it'd be a go, now down in texas..i dont' know, last time i had my car inspected they didnt' even do an emissions check from what i remember so who knows., i am interested in some headers in the future maybe

This is why I so love South Dakota and Tennessee.  No inspections at all.

I may be able to take the headers off of your hands for you scfrontier. Although, I do have a question regarding the price of $585.00 you had posted. The headers are listed on the SLR web site for $475.00, so what is the additional $110.00 for.... Shipping cost?. (475.00+110.00=$585.00)

I could pay for the headers up front via online at their (SLR) web site if that will help you get your deposit of $100.00 back to you. If you would like me to call you just send me a PM with your phone number and we can make arrangements with SLR so you can get your deposit money back.

BTW: Everyone calls me by my nick name: Herk
