Looking at buying a 2012 Frontier Pro 4X and wondering if it can handle 20" wheels/tires (like Titans) without modifications?

Are you thinking 44" O.D. tires? I would imagine that you are going to need a big lift and longer front axles.

you can actually fit 24" rims on the pro-4x, so 20"s will
be no problem

I imagine off-roading would be murder on low profile tires.....
