My boyfriend just bought a 2006 Nissan Frontier and his birthday is in a few weeks.  I want to get him something for his truck in the $100 - $200 price range, but have no idea what to get.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

4.0 V6 or 2.5 I-4 motor?

btw, if you get tired of him I'll swap spots with him.  The only thing I keep getting for my Birthday is cd's, DVD's, and games.  Wish my wife would buy me parts

Hmmm... hard to say for that price range.  You can pick up a Intake from K&N @ $240.

Possibly some new speakers to change out the stock ones maybe?

i love the k&n intake idea!

I just got one for my Camaro so he probably wouldn't expect me to get one for him.

Have you heard of an airaid intake?  How would that compare to the k&n?

also what's the difference between the k&n aircharger and k&n kit?  they are about the same price...

noise from the intake, and that's about it.  Honestly, I would go with the regular kit, the plastic doesn't help reduce the air temp anymore than the metal one does.

I prefer K&N over Air Raid in terms of the filters.  That's usually the only difference between intakes today.

okay, I talked to him last night and got out of him that Injen intake would be the best in his opinion, but I can't afford to spend $400 on an Injen intake:(
So I think that idea is out...
my other idea was a car alarm (about $200) since he'll be doing all his speakers and audio again.
Or
floor mats (like he wanted) and a detail and wax.

What are good floor mats? he mentioend "rugged" or something.

Can't get anymore rugged than that.  BTW, wish him a happy B-day on behalf of us here at NissanFrontier.org
