Hey guys I was wondering what's the average miles per tank everyone
is getting. I usually get 300-320 out of a fill up with a mix of city/
highway driving with a 6 spd manual

IMHO... Miles per tank is generalizing and not accurate. Miles per gallon over several fill ups is where it's at.

On long trips I get 23 mpg. Short trips 20 mpg. Locally I get 17 to 18 mpg

I record the gallons, date, price, mpg, and place of all the gasoline I buy. This record helps show the condition of the engine.

I am getting about 360 miles before the gas light comes on.

My fuel light came on the other day the fuel indicator said I had 15 miles left to go before running out however I filled it up completly with 18 gallons! Meaning I had 3 gallons in the tank even when the organe light came on, anyone's truck do this?

My gets round 19 mpg in city about 25 in hwy.
