For all of you asking about whether or not to use an oiled gauze air filter, the above site is worth reading in detail.  They appear NOT to be a good solution to keeping dust out of the engine.  And it is also interestin to see the different paper filters.  This is no doubt why Nissan air filters are oiled paper..a "best of both worlds" solution.
