I read on another Frontier forum that during break-in it was OK to do a couple hours on the highway provided that you vary your speed every 10 minutes or so (e.g. go from 55 mph to 65, to 75, etc.), turn overdrive off every now and then to change RPM, etc.

The manual says specifically not to "tow a trailer" for the first 500 miles -- doesn't mention hauling cargo -- so I'm assuming it's OK to throw two 250-lb dirt bikes in the back of the truck in this period. I'm probably being overly cautious posting a thread about this, but I just wanted to see what ya'll think.

This is for a 2011 Frontier Crew Crab SL 4x4 LWB. First ever new car.

Thanks!
