I have had my truck for just over a year now.
I noticed for the second time, (happend last year)
once we get a cool morning,(below 40 degrees) the TPS light will come on. I checked all of my tires, and the lowest one had 32 PSI.
I did air it up, drove around the block and then the light went off. I am no expert, but I do know that air pressure decreases as temperature decreases and vice versa. Does anyone else have this problem? I realize that below 40 is not that cold for many of you. Just last week, we had temps close to 100, and now we have a cooling trend, especially in the mornings. I did go up to LAke Tahoe last winter it we had temps in the teens, the light did not come on. I have been putting 35-40 in my tires to ensure the light does not come on.

Tires will loose 1-3 # a month, depending on temp. etc. An accurate guage is very important.

Mine does the same thing, just last Sunday I had to check/fill the tires to get the light to go out. It's just the cooler weather shrinkage/effect. No matter atall. Heck, they need to be checked often anyway, and it helps the mileage to have the tires properly inflated, so it's a nice reminder to keep them that way.
