that what i thought of 41 like that can't be ,so i try it
again still came out 41 here the mile begin 85,842 end at
86,041 with gallion is 4.854 and see what you come up with
!

Can't be. Probably the pump shut off way to early or there was air trapped in the tank.

i let it stop it self than take pump off gas tank. so i
dunno ! look all fine now i never touch the pump utill it
done fuiling. oh well never know still good gas mileages
anyway !

I think that 24 mpg in the city is excellent mileage with the XE. I could never get near that with my 2002, averaging around 20 was as good as it got on this RFG crap gas we buy here in town.
Out on the highway, taking long trips, I'd average 25 mpg, which I was very happy with. Same engine as my old '85, and it got 25-26mpg highway, also, but it was lighter weight.
I'm tickled to death with 21-22 mpg highway in my SE six cylinder, and I have to burn premium gas to get that.
