Does anyone know of a way to have hooks installed in the bed? Are there anything on the 4 corners on the ridge caps where I can put in some hooks or something like that?   Sometimes the cleat system does not work the best, but I wanted to put in hooks that I can pull up from the 4 corners.

not 100% sure on this in regards to the 08 frontier

but the bed rails are plastic, and the square portions are markers for the bed slots.  You can cut those squares out and use the "bull ring" style clamps in there to give you a tie down point.

Just buy the tie down clips that bolt into the holes you will find in each corner of the bed.  I have Utilitrak but bought these and installed them as well.  Work great and since I put them in with LocTite, they are permanent.  I bought them from Courtesy Nissan.

If you use these, MAKE SURE TO CHASE  THE THREADS in the bed walls as they will have the spray in bed liner stuff in them and you'll snap off the bolts if you don't do that before installing the bolts.
