How do you get the windshield clean and free of the salt stains / water stains? I've tried a couple of different glass cleaners, there's still dots all over the windshield. Yep, did the inside of the windows, too. Any cleaners out there that are really strong?

Use Stoner's Invisible Glass. This does NOT leave streaks like Windex. Wash first with water and towel dry. Then redo with Stoner's. Glass will be so clear it actually can look like it isn't there.

This is what we use at work. Works great at removing glue, dirt and salt and can be used to clean just about anything.. It also doesn't leave a film like most amonia based products which is our biggest concern when we apply vinyls.
