I just bought a new CC and they gave me a box with 4 utili-track cleats with the thumb wheels and 4 other square looking things with bolts. When I tried to put them in the track, they did not fit. What are they for? Thanks for your answer

They really do fit.  Make sure you loosen the bolts and look at the backing plates that slide into the track.  They are NOT square.  The little square things I use after putting in my tailgate extender or the bed divider.  It will slow down theft of some parts as these have to be removed to slide out these items (or parts thereof).  I also installed the bolt in tie downs that I purchased from COurtesy Nissan.  If you do this, chase the threaded holes with a tap first to clean them out or you will break the bolts trying to install them.
