I've been using http://www.fueleconomy.gov for a while now and kind of like being able to see other people's fuel economy numbers.  The problem is not very many Frontier owners are using it for comparison.

Anybody interested?  I'm the guy from NC with mainly 10% stop and go and 90% highway averaging 19.8 mpg...

I check every tankfull, always have, for my own purposes, so I generally know what's going on. Here's a thread where I posted what my results are, so far.

If you have a smartphone or a PDA, either windows mobile or palm OS, there are a few programs out there that you can use that will give you loads of statistics...some useful and some not, but hey, interesting nonetheless, they also let you put notations in, as well as enter costs for maint, and such.  I am trying a demo of one right now called automobil for palm os, i dig it so far, and i am also going to be trying autofile out. I think they have been around for a couple years but i just recently upgraded to a smartphone so i didn't know about them. previous to this, i have been checking the mileage myself and logging it, sometimes more diligently than at other times. but i do enter it into a notebook for oil changes, and other maint items. If you have the capability and wish to try these out, you can try fee demos on these two, tho i do know of other programs out there for smartphones and PDA's I just haven't looked into them like I have these two.

...and yes..i do realize this is kind of um...neurotic statistical analysis, just find it interesting

Cool!  I'm the same way about statistics though...  I do all mine in a Moleskin notebook.

As soon as the 3G iPhones come out in May I'll have my first smartphone!!
