does anyone know how to check if the auto lock hubs disengage? I have an 02 4X4 3.3, and my only complaint is the oh so common fuel problem (14 mpg)

But I've also done a lot of driving in 4 high lately, and notice no change in the mileage. And yes when I shift into 2high, I drive in whatever opposite direction to disengage the hubs. Just seems odd to get the same mpg's in 4 and 2wheel drive.

hi from floria canada I don`t know what engauges your 4 wheel drive is it vacum or eletic check house wires check your service book salonod hookup if eltric fues is it like some dodges and some chevys of the late 80s
