I know it is a 4cyl but I want to make my frontier sound good .. I have a 1998 Nissan frontier 4x4 .. I saw on youtube where a guy put a "cherrybomb" on his and sounded really good .. Anyone have advice on what type to put on to give it a good sound?? Thanks!

not sure about the 4 cyl models, however, if you take a look at the modifications section on this forum, then you will find a sticky at the top with some clips of exhaust sounds, which includes a couple 4 banger clips as well. as far as advice, you can have a custom cat back exhaust run, or full exhaust with whatever muffler you want, just depends on how much you spend. There has been some back and forth on previous exhaust threads about whether or not that is cheaper than buying a cat back exhaust or not. Only way to know is to ask around to some muffler shops, but you will want to make sure they are reputable of course. if you are wanting to get the most out of your 4 banger, i believe pacesetter makes some headers for the 4 bangers as well. i don't have any audio clips of that as of yet, but i can peek around and look. the biggest thing is just keep looking for clips and decide what you like, and how much you want to spend, then it's up to you. good luck.

My bro has got a 4cyl. '94 model and he just put a 2.5" Magnaflow exhaust and that actually gave it a really nice sound, especially for it being a four cylinder.
