Alright, I think this is one of the first posts that I have ever made. I just found out a couple of weeks ago that my girlfriend is pregnant. I am overly excited to be a father, but like any male I do not want to give up my truck. I have been trying to do some research on the safety and security of child seats in the cab of a Frontier. It has no latch system and is a bench seat.

If anyone can point me to a website with safety info, or tell me what kind of carseat you went with it would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to give up my truck or take on a car payment!

Do your child a favor and don't travel w/ them in the Frontier. I'm very familiar w/ child seat safety...have taken courses on proper installation, proper seating for respective weight of child and done a lot of research into the safest brand of seats. NONE OF THIS MATTERS when you put a child in the front (only) seat of a tiny pick up truck. There simply isn't enough protection.
