Has anybody removed the headlight housing on an 05? When I went pond hopping a couple weeks ago, I filled my drivers side headlight up with water through the little weep hole in the bottom of housing, lol

There is still some condensation in the housing, and I want to remove it, flush it with clean water (instead of the murky pond water that was in it), and blow a hair dryer or something through it. I might even blow some alcohol through it to completely dry it.

I found the 2 - 10mm screw in top of housing, but is there anymore at the bottom? And do I have to remove the grill?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Boy, what a pain in the dairyaire! Man, had to remove all the bottom bumper, most of the bumper itself (plastic bumper), and the inner fender protector just to get the housing out.

Come to find out, there's not a weephole in the housing like I originally thought.....just a big rubber gasket that goes around the bulb. It must be the stupid gasket that leaked the pond water into the housing. Now the inside of my housing is stained up, and needs to be replaced.

Here are the images from the FSM, maybe it will help someone if ever needed.

BTW, there are 5 bolts that hold the housing in place. The one that is not shown in the manual, is on the inside of the housing, but the grill has to be removed to get to it.

lol...I put the headlight housing back in, next day I had condensation in it again. So, I removed it again, and cleaned with alcohol. Helped, but got some more condensation in their today. This is getting really puzzling, lol
