Im lookin at buying a 07 frontier 4 cylinder manual tranny. Is there any known problems or concerns with the new trucks? Any feedback would be great. I drove one the other day and really like it. Just lookin to see what people have to say about it.

..

Cody08;

... Well here's the 29th one. I didn;t even know they made an '07 4 banger. I have omly read about the sixs. At least you didn't get some fake endorsments.

Buy it and you can become our resident '07 4 banger guru.

My last 4 banger was a '76 Datsun PU and it was great!!!!

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

If something I’ve posted on the Internet offends you please ignore it. If you don’t know how to ignore something on the Internet e-mail me … and I’ll demonstrate.

QR25DE — 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder
engine
152 hp @ 5,200 rpm

171 lb-ft of torque @ 4,400 rpm

I do a lot of traveling for work so thats why I want the 4 banger. I just miss having a truck. I just wish someone who has one would tell me wether they like it or not. Ive always been a nissan fan and even though I wish it still had the ka in it I would like to learn more about the 2.5.

Why the four banger?  Does it get better gas mileage than the 6 (considering the weight of the truck it might not be that much more)?  I would think if Nissan is only making it available on one model (the "cheapest" one, that might tell you something).

For the record, I just bought an '07 six, and I love it.  I'm getting 20 mpg mixed driving after only 2,000 miles.  That's a 4x4 model too!

Good luck.

Pretty heavy truck for a 4 cylinder.

My only complaint is to get the 6 speed,4x4 Crew Cab I had to get the SE with fabric seats.

I can change those, but changing the tranny from an auto would be a project.
