I would like to upgrade my factory speakers, what sizes are they and will i need an aftermrket head unit. Also are there any custom fit enclosures for speakers for extra cab trucks because the factory front speakers arent doing it for me.

You can find that information at both www.crutchfield.com and www.sounddomain.com If you're going to buy anything online, I would recommend either of them as they're registered dealers for the equipment they sell.

You can run them off the factory unit, but a aftermarket unit can allow for a clearer system.

I believe one of sponsors actually has some subwoofer enclosures, if you're looking or speaker enclosures, that will probably have to be custom work.

I am looking to set up a system in my '06 Crew Cab Frontier soon and have a few questions on everything since I have never done this before. Ok, what I plan on getting is an enclosure that fits 2 "8 subs in it (possibly just room for 1 "8...not sure how much would be too much) and hope to get the Kicker L7's. But ive got a question about the amp, they got 1 channel, 2 channel and multi-channel amps, which would I need for my setup? And one more question, on the checkout for the amps, there is an option labeled "impedance" with selections for dual 4 ohm and dual 2 ohm. I have no idea what this means, can someone help me out and give me a little info/advice on what im doing? Thanks.
