hello,

just got a brand new 2006 frontier xe 4cyl 5spd. i noticed it has a muffled "whomp" noise that i guess sounds something similar to what you would hear from a flat tire. the noise happens more often as i speed up and pass certain speed "dissapears"; it is more obvious when i'm just rolling in nutural at very slow speeds. i'd assume it's from the new tires, but wanted to hear other's opinion.

That could be a lot of things, but if it's brand new, and it's easy to hear, take it to the dealer.
