I need some help replacing the front parking lights on my 01. I have removed the two screws and now the head light is still being held back by something. What do I need to do from here?

I figured it out. All you need to do to replace the parking light or the turnsignal is to remove two clips on the wheel well cover and reach up and turn the bulb holder a 1/4 turn counter clock wise. Replace bulb and turn holder 1/4 turn clock wise.

Do you know if this will also apply to the '02 Frontier?  My running light on the drivers side is out an I can not figure how to get to it.

Well, I know it's been a while since this was posted but here's the answer. After you remove the screws there is also a clip that hold it in place. Just pull hard and the whole head light will come out. Then you can change the bulb. When done just pop it back in.

I also have a 2001 and the front left little round white light above the round amber light is out.  I went through the wheel well and could barely reach the turn signal let alone the one that's out.  Are you sure this is possible without removing the grill and headlight assembly ?  Thanks.

I'm having the same issue.  Parking light is out and it looks like a pain to get to.  I'm not the most mechanically inclined dude but I can follow directions ok.  One of you chaps mind listing a step-by-step for replacing the little fellow or point me in the direction of a list of instructions?  Much gratitude.
