So I have this problem... I have a 4x2 CC fronty and I use a hitch mount bike hauler to tote my small motorcycle. The weight makes the front go way up and handling and mpg way down.

I bought an air-lift kit for the 4x4 thinnking that the two trucks had similar ride heights. It was not until later that I discovered that they do not share rear suspensions. I would have gotten the 4x2 kit, but it did not say anything about the CC.

So now, I'm stuck with this kit and I'm wondering if anyone has ever transplanted the top axle mount springs from the 4x4 to the 4x2 chassis? Any help here would be appreciated. Just wondering if the springs fit without too much modification.
