My 2015 SV (auto 5 spd) in Ohio winters slips at the
first acceleration from cold start in the morning and
then is fine the rest of the day. Is there a real fix for
this, or is everyone just living with it? I can live with
it but just concerned about scaring buyers away when it
comes time to sell it (soon). I can guess that if I take
it to the Nissan dealer they will say "leave it with us
and we'll confirm the symptom in the morning". Then the
next morning I'm taken for the diagnostic fee even if I
decline service. With the issue being as common as it is,
what I am really looking for is how this has been
addressed, if at all, in vehicles that have been serviced
for this. How about "stop slip" over the counter
products?

My Advice is to Talk with the Nissan Service Manager and
The Nissan Master Tech about this.
They will probly want to check it over to make sure all
the Fluid Level's are correct and drive it to check it
out.
The Transmission Won't Shift Normally Until the ATF get's
Warmed Up. They Might Recommend a Block Heater to help
Get the ATF Warmed Up Quicker.
IMO best to talk with Nissan before going to additive's
and Then You have to make sure that the ATF IS NOT
OVERFILLED OR UNDERFILLED.
