I'm getting ready to do my next recommended maintenance items and the list includes replacing the AT fluid, the differential oil and the transfer case oil. I looked in the manual for the capacities and recommended types but, while it has the info for most everything else it doesn't list a capacity number for any of these things.

I'm just gonna drain and refill the tranny. I'll pump out the rear differential and haven't yet looked to see if I can drain the transfer case or if I'll have to pump it out too.

My question is: Does anyone know how much of these respective fluids/lubricants I'll need to do this job? In fact, I'd like to get the volumes as well as any non-Nissan product recommendations. Nothing against Nissan products, just would like to know the purchasing alternatives.

I know I can measure what comes out and then go get the replacements but I'd like to already have it on hand and finish the job then.

Thanks in advance for your help.

..

I did a little searching but didn’t find anything
conclusive. A simple pan draining 5 quarts should cover it.
Now would be a good time to install a drain plug kit if it
doesn’t have one.

Good Luck.. Don S..
